You will need to pay an apprenticeship (the average wage for apprentices in England is £140 p.w.) but you will get a committed member of staff who will learn within your company. If the apprentice is 16-18 all training and assessment costs are FREE. If an apprenticeship is aged 19-24 you will need to contribute to the training costs but these are paid in instalments and can be as low as £400 p.a.
