Upper Lee Valley Area Strategy Consultation

Urban Futures designed and managed a series of five major consultation events on behalf of the London Development Agency (LDA). The purpose of these was to inform partners in the three boroughs of Haringey, Enfield and Waltham Forest about the current framework, vision, themes and key milestones of the draft Area Framework. The events also gave participants the opportunity to contribute their ideas to the developing Upper Lee Valley Area Strategy through facilitated workshops.

Each event took place in a venue relevant to the people being consulted in each of the boroughs. The business event took place at a business innovation centre in Enfield and the community event was held at a community centre in Tottenham, which has strong connections throughout North London and the Upper Lee Valley.

Urban Futures provided a comprehensive event organisation and management service that included:

• Screening for suitable venues.
• Inviting and liaising with keynote speakers and representatives.
• Pre-event planning and liaison.
• Programme and agenda design, production and distribution.
• General administration.
• Resource management and co-ordination on the day.
• Workshop facilitation and co-ordination.
• Post event evaluation.
