One of North London's foremost local authorities with a long track record in regeneration initiatives, especially breaking down barriers to employment, promoting community enterprise and industrial estate development.

The Economic Development Team utilising its extensive database of employers recently operated a job brokerage pilot successfully with Job Centre Plus.

Currently, it is co-operating with two of its neighbouring authorities and a wide range of organisations from other sectors in offering job brokerage facilities via a consortium led by Enfield College.
