Northumberland Park SRB Programme

This major neighbourhood management programme focuses on one of the most disadvantaged areas in Haringey, the Northumberland Park area of Tottenham. The programme aims to facilitate economic and social growth in the area, by introducing a system of neighbourhood management that fully involves the local community and focuses on key themes such as employment and young people.

Managing Labour Market Provision - The Employ Model

Urban Futures has developed a major new employment framework, which seeks to link economically inactive residents with employment and skills opportunities. Working closely with strategic partners and a range of training providers, we initially targeted this project across four Haringey-based SRB programmes (which we also managed). We implemented a framework of progression for those accessing the service that included outreach work and basic skills through to job brokerage and placement.

Single Programme

With the introduction of the London Development Agency's (LDA) new Single Programme, partners in the Upper Lee Valley in North London needed to develop regeneration policies, strategies, objectives and projects, which would meet the demands of three funding streams, three local authorities and a range of delivery partners. We took on the role of managing the process through a partnership structure of both strategic and operational groups over an 18-month period.

Upper Lee Valley Area Strategy Consultation

Urban Futures designed and managed a series of five major consultation events on behalf of the London Development Agency (LDA). The purpose of these was to inform partners in the three boroughs of Haringey, Enfield and Waltham Forest about the current framework, vision, themes and key milestones of the draft Area Framework.
