Is Your Business a Winner?

Enterprise Enfield is delighted to announce the launch of its Business Awards 2007 competition sponsored by The RSA Trust. This is the third time that Enterprise Enfield has held the popular competition, which recognises rewards and promotes the excellence of local businesses. The awards are open to all
This year, as more and more businesses are acknowledging the need to change the way they operate in order to lessen the effect of global warming, Enterprise Enfield has introduced a new Green Business of the Year award to the four categories available to enter. This award aims to recognise and promote the hard work of local organisations and businesses which demonstrate an active commitment to good environmental practice and promote sustainable development. The full award categories are:
- Start-Up Business of the Year (under 2 years of trading)
- Business of the Year (over 2 years of trading)
- Green Business of the Year
- Lloyds TSB Innovative Business of the Year
First prize winners in each of the categories will be awarded with £1,000 and second prize winners will receive £500. In addition to the cash prize, winners will also receive lots of publicity, endorsement and credibility, vital in business today. The prize funding for the Start-Up, Green Business and Business of the Year awards are all generously provided by The RSA Trust and the Innovative Business of the Year Award prize is kindly provided by Lloyds TSB. The Awards are also supported by the London Development Agency and European Regional Development Fund under the City Growth Programme.
