Event builds links between providers and employers

The Employ ULV Framework Team would like to thank everyone who attended the Network Forum event on Tuesday 21st February, which focussed on promoting engagement with employers in the ULV. We had three excellent presentations, from Tim Strong, Head of Human Resources at Enfield Borough Council, Sona Mahtani, from the North London Training and Employment Network, and Steve Delaney from Urban Futures who stood in for Valda Edmunds of BAA Stansted.

A lot of discussion was generated around the engagement of employers from the public, voluntary and community, and private sectors.

The overall feeling generated from the event was the need to improve cross-linkages, beneficiary cross-referral, employer engagement and general synergy of existing and planned initiatives in the Upper Lee Valley. The Employ ULV Network Forum has a strong role to play in this and we look forward to hearing your views.
